I met Marsha only once and she was so kind to me. I told her Ellyn had a lot of her traits she laughed and said oh boy is that good or bad? I said I feel it’s a good thing. I saw so much love around her the family was always with her always encouraging her. This tells me she was an amazing person. I know she raised a great daughter our Ellyn, who has raised an amazing son who never left his Moms side or his Grandmothers in her final days. Which also confirms that Marsha was an amazing Grandmother to her babies. May you rest in peace and feel no more pain. God bless you Marsha fly high sweetie . Always Lori Weide

Marsha had the heart of a lion when it came to her children and grandchildren and of course her great-grandchild Cole! We had a heart to heart and her biggest fear was not being able to say everything she had to say to her “babies and who was going to be there to protect them when she was gone? I reminded her that she would never ever be gone because as long as those ” babies Marc, Ellyn, and Marla think of her and of course her beloved grandchildren and great-grandchild” she will ALWAYS be there in spirit! She smiled at this thought and finally agreed. She loved to sing and had a impressive voice to listen to. I was honored to be able to get to know Marsha these last few months and spend time with her; laughing, crying, and of course signing somewhere over the rainbow! Her voice much better than mine of course! She touched my life in so many ways but mostly she taught me to live, love and enjoy each day as if it was my last! Thank you Goldie Family for allowing me to get to know your mother, she was such a sweet lady and I will truly miss seeing her every day! My deepest condolences to all of you at this time and may God be with each and everyone of you in this time of great sadness. Marsha, I hope you have found your rainbow and are finally at rest! I will always remember our special little talks together and your courage, strength, and conviction towards life. Thanks for having Ellyn she has truly been a gift in my life! Love you all, Michelle

I met this sweet woman only twice and I felt like we knew each other for years. Her daughter Ellyn (Yes our parents both named us Ellyn with a Y) works at Lee Manor where I have lived almost 16 years. Ellyn and I bonded very fast. My heart and prayers are with Ellyn and her family!
